Miscellaneous Changes. This version includes fixes for the display of "blank" thermal ellipsoid styles, and revised information display for the Leap Motion Controller.
Thermal ellipsoids defined with the "blank" style are now correctly hidden, and not drawn as black (or white) circles, as before.
Minor changes to the Leap Motion connection/disconnection messages.
Expanded, Embedded Examples. CrystalViewer now includes over 120 crystal and molecular structures, embedded within the application bundle. These can be browsed via a new Examples menu, which groups the files by category, using submenus, e.g., "3D Models", "Advanced Materials", "Elements", "Minerals"... Also included is a series of teaching models which feature atomic/ionic radii, basic structure types, lattice types, and more.
Window Settings and Recent Files saved. CrystalViewer now remembers your window size and recently-opened files - and the latter can be accessed via a new File > Open Recent submenu.
Miscellaneous Changes. This version includes improved startup behaviour, Leap Motion status display and changed window behaviour.

Expanded Structures Library. This version includes a greatly extended library of crystal and molecular structures.
Miscellaneous Changes. This version includes improved online help and faster rotation.
Updated and improved online help.
The new command-arrow 90° rotation shortcuts now only apply if the graphics pane is active. This then allows use of these shortcuts when editing text in the Notes pane.
Rotating using a mouse wheel, or via a two-finger slide on the trackpad, is now much faster in "Fast Rotation" mode.
This is a new application, designed to allow registered CrystalMaker 9 customers to share their their structures with colleagues or students. We are making this available on an experimental basis, in the hope that this will prove useful.
