And with our Education licensing, your students get to install our software on their own laptops: so they can learn through play in their own time...

Online Discount. We offer an automatic web discount that increases as you add more items: For each eligible software product you get 5% off the price of your order, up to a maximum of 15%. The discount will appear at checkout and is for online purchases only.

Alternatively, Purchase Orders can be accepted for Permanent- and Annual Bundle (excluding Classroom) licences. Online discount does not apply to purchase orders. We reserve the right to add an administration fee for orders requiring onerous paperwork (see note below).

  3. Ordering from India? Because of burdensome bureaucracy and a history of late payments, we regret we are not able to provide credit/purchase orders for Indian institutions. Instead, we can offer the services of our Indian reseller, SCUBE. Note that they may add their own fees to the order total.

  4. Prices are valid until further notice and are in U.S. dollars (USD), Euros (EUR) and British Pounds Sterling (GBP). These prices are for direct orders only. Using a reseller may well prove more expensive.

  5. Prices exclude VAT: European Union customers ordering online will be billed VAT at their local rate. However, if you have a valid (non-UK) VAT number, please enter it in the Special Instructions field on the checkout page. Following validation of your VAT number, we will then apply a VAT refund to your order.

  6. There is no physical shipping for any of our software products. You must specify the e-mail address of the end user, so we can send them their licence code(s) and download link(s). Note that, for security reasons, we cannot provide licensing/download information to third parties (e.g., purchasing agents).

  7. Platform: Software is available in two different versions, for Mac or Windows operating systems. Annual group and site licences include both versions, however if you are ordering a Personal licence, you must specify which platform you require. (When ordering online, you will be taken to an order page where you can specify the platform type using a popup menu.)

  8. Education Licensing is for schools, colleges and universities offering undergraduate degrees. Government labs or other "non-profit" research centres do not qualify; when in doubt, ask yourself: "am I a teacher?; does my institution offer undergraduate degrees?"

  9. Upgrade Eligibility: If ordering an upgrade, you must have an existing software licence with the same user limit as the licence to be upgraded to. We no longer accept upgrade orders for very-old licences i.e., CrystalMaker 1-8 for Mac, CrystalMaker 1 or 2 for Windows, CrystalDiffract 1-4 for Mac or SingleCrystal 1 or 2 for Mac or Windows. Users with very-old licences who have not taken the opportunity to upgrade until now, will need to purchase a new licence.

    If you purchased a software product from us, within 90 days of the release date then, as per our Software Licence Agreement's warranty period, you may be eligible for a free upgrade, subject to these criteria:

    • We must have received full payment within the required time period.
    • Free upgrades will not be offered to any customers with payments outstanding.
    • You agree to pay any price difference between the previous and current versions.

  10. Credit Card Orders: (Visa and Mastercard) are welcomed and, for online sales, will be billed in whichever currency you specify: U.S. Dollars, Euros, or British Pounds Sterling. Use the popup currency menu (above each pricing table) to change the currency.

    Please note: we are registered as a UK merchant. If you are ordering from outside the European region, please note that some banks may levy additional charges, which are outside our control. These might include currency conversion fees or even, in some cases, an "Overseas Transaction Charge". Please check with your card provider for further details.

  11. Purchase Orders: We strongly recommend purchasing online, with a credit card, via this sales page. In extreme cases, we may be able to accept purchase orders from accredited institutions in certain countries, subject to a US $100 administration fee for any bespoke ordering arrangements (e.g., signing up for individual university/corporate purchasing systems) and/or burdensome paperwork.

    We provide a maximum of 30 days credit, after which interest payments (currently set at 30% APR) are due.
